Great camping, good fishing, diving, surfing and four wheel driving plus a variety of coastal scenery and plentiful wildlife make this region in South Australia an ideal destination.

A sealed road leads south from Port Lincoln, while entry and camping permits are available at the park entrance. A good dirt road heads into the park to the major points of interest and to the most popular camping areas and boat ramps.

Camping is allowed at a number of spots, mainly on the more protected northern and northeastern coasts. At Taylors Landing you can also launch small boats. Donington Cottage is available to rent.

An enjoyable and generally pretty easy 4WD track (if you lower your tyre pressures) from Sleaford Mere heads west behind the dunes to Wanna and leads to many popular surf fishing spots.
