Illawarra Caravan Camping 4WD Fish & Boat Show - February
The Illawarra Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show will be held at Kembla Grange Racecourse on the 20, 21 & 22 of February 2015. This event is a fantastic show that has grown each year, with over 200 individual sites to host exhibitors in 2015. As well as a huge display of products and services on offer, there will be great entertainment for the whole family over the weekend.

The Hunter Valley Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show is held in May each year at the Maitland showgrounds.
The biggest show on the Rural Scene calendar is the Hunter Valley Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show held in May each year at the Maitland showgrounds. The Hunter Valley Show has lead the way for Rural Scene’s Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat shows, being the first of its kind presented by the company for the first time in 1997. Albury Caravan Camping 4WD Fish & Boat Show - May
The Albury Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show is the second event on the Rural Scene calendar and will be held on the 15, 16 & 17 May 2015. Held at the Albury Showground, the show is the biggest of its kind in Albury. With over 150 sites, the show offers a fantastic range of products and services for visitor’s interest, as well as some great entertainment for the whole family over the weekend.
Mid North Coast Caravan Camping 4WD Fish & Boat Show - August
The Mid North Coast Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show first commenced in 2001 at the Wauchope Showgrounds. For Wauchope, the show is one of the major events for the year and provides a key income source for the many local groups who assist over the weekend. The Mid North Coast show has been a strong show since its inception and with 2014 seeing over 200 sites it is clear that the show will continue to be prosperous into the future.
Orana Caravan Camping 4WD Fish & Boat Show - September
The Orana Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show is a unique event for the Dubbo Region. Held at Dubbo Showgrounds, the show offers visitors and locals an opportunity to see a huge display of various caravanning, camping and fishing. The Dubbo 4WD Club provide great entertainment each year on the 4WD demonstration track. Stone the Crows Festival is a unique event designed specifically for grey nomads. Lightning Ridge Easter Festival - Easter

Packsaddle Gymkhana, Bikekhana and Funday - Easter Weekend.
About 170km north of Broken Hill, the Packsaddle Gymkhana normally runs over the Easter weekend. It's not only a chance to test your horse & bike riding skills, but an opportunity to catch up with mates. This destination known by its roadhouse knows how to put on a long weekend of fun for all. The two-day event includes plenty of horse races of both the novelty and more competitive kind, and a Bikekhana for those that prefer an engine on the Sunday.

The Henry Lawson Festival (Grenfell) - June Long Weekend
Grenfell is the birthplace of Henry Lawson, one of Australia's most famous poets born on Grenfell's gold fields in 1867. With Lawson's love of the land and its people he would go on to capture the spirit of Australian life in his poetry and prose. To commemorate Henry Lawson's Birth and his contribution to the arts, Grenfell hosts the annual Henry Lawson Festival on the June long weekend. The festival promotes and recognises aspiring Australians in their artistic endeavours. Entries are received nationally for verse, short story, painting and photography, and performers travel vast distance to participate in the festival year after year. Bush Poetry at the Henry Lawson Obelisk on Sunday morning with camp fire, damper, and billy tea is a highlight. Many people return year after year for this experience.
Where Pigs Fly - Faster than Bathurst cars and more exciting than the Melbourne cup. Come to Grenfell on the festival weekend and you will experience one of Australia's most unusual events, the Pinnacle Guinea Pig Races. The meeting attracts visitors from all over Australia. Milparinka Gymkhana - July
The Milparinka Gymkhana is generally run in July. Highlights of the day include the horse races and men's and women's barrel races. As well there's 'slice the melon', which is best described as a cross between jousting and tent pegging but using a machete to slice a suspended paddy melon. This event has become a firm favourite during the 60 odd years that the gymkhana has been running. Fully catered with a licenced bar and live entertainment on Saturday night, this fun day would be worth enjoying.

St Heliers Heavy Horse Field Days - August
St Heliers Heavy Horse Field Days was formed in 1996 and is a great weekend for people with an interest in breeds like Clydesdale's, Shires, Percherons and Draught horses. The event is held at the St Heliers Exhibition Grounds, Sandy Creek Rd, Muswellbrook each year in August, only a couple of minutes north of Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley. For the heavy horse owner the competition is open to all heavy horse breeds and runs for 2 days. Events include lead, ridden, slide and long rein, ploughing and carriage events as well as a lot of fun with novelty events for everyone. There is plenty for the public to see with attendances last year being over 70 heavy horses and well over 1500 interested public. There are stall holders selling arts and craft, antiques, heavy horse harness and memorabilia with plenty of food outlets to keep you satisfied over the weekend. With a community bonfire Saturday night plus unpowered on-site camping sites available for the traveler, you can now make a weekend of it. The Trundle Bush Tucker Day, Trundle, NSW September
Situated approximately 65km north-west of Parkes, the rural community of Trundle holds their Bush Tucker Day this year on the 3rd September. It is all about creating culinary delights in traditional camp ovens over open fires. Barwon River Rodeo at Easter attracts the leading horse people of the region.
Brewarrina Races are usually is held in May in the little town of Brewarrina on the banks of the Barwon River, 790km north-west of Sydney.
Brewarrina Rodeo – Dec
Eight seconds may not be long, except when you're on the back of a 500 kg bull. The Brewarrina rodeo promises to be exciting with cowboys from all over New South Wales and Queensland coming to compete in this popular sport. With Cowboy bulls and rodeo clowns, it promises to be a fun time for the whole family. You'd better saddle up quick to get to this action weekend out west. The Walgett Rodeo boasts an impressive range of equine events and is run in August. Events include the explosive bull riding, spectacular steer wrestling, ladies barrel racing, a campdraft, gymkhana, and for the kids a junior rodeo and poddy riding competition, along with a lot more.
